I checked in on 19 May 2018 with the 2 boys and we got two adjacent deluxe rooms, one for the boys and one for myself.
The room is very cosy, featuring classic furnishings in soothing colour tones embellished with streaks of vibrant colours. Deluxe rooms come with either king-sized bed or twin beds

The view from my room was awesome as I could see the sea from the window.
I had the opportunity to check out a suite room that is not available for booking as this room is only reserved for very special VIPs.

This room comes with its own jaccuzi bathtub as well.
For those who wants to go for some relaxation and fun, you can visit The Club for a game of pool and catch the nightly performance.
With six restaurants featuring sumptuous cuisine choices in Berjaya Waterfront Hotel, embark on a gastronomic adventure and choose from a variety of local, chinese and international cuisine.
As we were there during the Ramadan period, I had the privilege to join the the “Warisan Sajian Ibunda”, featuring traditional recipes created by the master chefs of Berjaya Waterfront Hotel taught to them by their own mothers.
Highlights of the signature dishes included Soup Gear Box and Kambing Golek.
Melodies of Islamic elements called ‘nasyid’ were performed throughout the Ramadan month.
From the hawker stalls, 200 varieties of mouth-watering authentic local dishes such as kerb ulam kampung, otak-otak, satay, aging bakar, ikan submit, gully ayam kampung, lemming, ketupat and many more were being offered.
The boys had a great time during the buffet trying out all the different type of local cuisines which they hardly had a chance to try.
I was drawn to this carcass of of bones… wow!
We proceeded back to the hotel room to rest and I took some photos from the hotel balcony. The layout of Berjaya Waterfront Hotel was very interesting in the sense that the rooms were arranged in a triangular shape.
The next day, we woke up around 9am for our buffet breakfast at Salt ‘n” Pepper Cafe Restaurant. The boys were full of energy while I was struggling to get out of the bed… lol.

With sumptuous cuisine choices for breakfast, a unique and welcoming dining ambience and sweeping views of the Johor Straits, dining was such a pleasure at Salt ‘n” Pepper Café Restaurant.
I loved this fried kway teow dish so much that I had like 3 rounds of servings.
The kids helped themselves to the food that they wanted. Luckily both of them are independent enough to decide on what they wanted so that mummy could take a break for herself.
There were also live stations for eggs done in your preferred choices as well as freshly made pratas.
The two boys were so full of energy after the buffet breakfast!
After breakfast, I went to check out the swimming pool in Berjaya Waterfront Hotel.
It was great to travel with good sister, Magdalene, on media trips cos we always look after each other.
