HIFU Sygmalift by The Clifford Clinic Review

Even though celebrating my birthday in mid July recently was awesome, looking at myself in the mirror was not. Time had definitely left its mark on my face and all I see was a tired looking face which looked saggy, with crow’s feet and obvious laugh lines. Without further ado, I quickly consulted Dr Gerard Ee, The Clifford Clinic to see what could be done to save my face and make it look youthful and firmer again. After listening to my concerns, Dr Ee suggested doing HIFU Sygmalift on the face with more focus on the eye areas.

He explained that with the use of beams of ultrasound energy with extreme precision, HIFU Sygmalift targets connective tissues, heats the dermis rapidly to stimulate collagen production. The increase in collagen results in firmer tighter skin with fewer wrinkles. Since the ultrasound beams are focused on a specific tissue site below the skin’s surface, there won’t no damage to the upper layers of the skin.
Who doesn’t want your skin skin to feel firmer, bouncier while reducing wrinkles, right?
In a nutshell, HIFU Sygmalift is perfect for reducing:
- Saggy Cheeks
- Crow’s feet
- Jowl Reduction
- Laugh lines
For those who are looking for facial rejuvenation, wrinkle reduction, jowl reduction and facial remodeling, HIFU Sygmalift is the treatment for you!
The first step for HIFU Sygmalift is to wash the face clean of makeup and dirt. Afterwhich, the therapist applied ultrasound gel on my face, while I laid on the bed comfortably. Using the HIFU device, the therapist moved it slowly, starting from my chin to the side, along my jawline.

After going over it a few times, she moved the HIFU device higher up my face and repeated the process again to ensure that she covered my whole face.

The HIFU device used around the eyes was much smaller to go around the eye area and forehead area.

The therapist did one side of my face first to show me the effect of HIFU Sygmalift and I was amazed by the results. Look at how one side of my face was lifted up!

The therapist continued to work the magic on the rest of my face.

Lastly a laser beam was used to enhance the effects of the ultrasound energy used to stimulate collagen on the face.

I didnt feel any pain at all. Some of you might feel tiny electric pulses or a light prickly sensation, as mentioned by the therapist. Each session typical takes about an hour so you can book an appointment during your lunch hour if you are strapped for time.
There is totally no downtime at all as it is non-invasive and I could walk out of the clinic without anyone noticing that I had done any treatment on my face. See, this was me right after the HIFU Sygmalift treatment!

Personally, I feel that HIFU Sygmalift is a great alternative to face lifts as I don’t want the risks of surgery and long recovery time. I don’t need to go underneath a knife and suffer from the pain. And this is also a more affordable option as well. Having said so, HIFU is not a miracle cure for aging. This treatment is best suited for patients with mild-to-moderate skin laxity, and you may need to have the procedure repeated in one year to as the natural aging process sets in.
People usually need about 1 to 6 sessions. depending on the results they want to achieve. Usually youe can see positive results in 2 to 3 months time and good skincare can help maintain these results for up to 1 year.
Of course, don’t just take my words for it. Best is to get an appointment with the doctors in The Clifford Clinic and check if HIFU Sygmalift is suitable for you, based on the issues you have and the results you want.
