Hotel Jen Puteri Habour Johor Review
Hotel Jen Puteri Habour, Johor is the most perfect place to stay in if you are planning for a relaxing holiday, near the sea with plenty of photo opportunities! Strategically placed in the new heart of the Southeast Asian economy, Puteri Habour is located just outside of Johor Bahru-one of Malaysia’s largest cities-and only a 15-mins drive from lion city Singapore. I chose Hotel Jen Puteri Harbour, Johor as it is close to Sanrio Hello Kitty Town and Thomas Town as I planned to bring the two boys, Kaiser and Rayes, there to enjoy the rides and activities.

I got a pleasant surprise when I checked in at Hotel Jen’s lobby and was notified that the deluxe room which I had booked was upgraded to a Deluxe Harbour View Room. This meant I would wake up to gorgeous views of Puteri Harbour… yeah! At the same time, my family was given access to the Club Lounge. Super grateful to the General Manager and Communications Manager of Hotel Jen Puteri Habour for arranging all these!
As we reached the hotel around 11.30am, the room was not ready yet and I was informed that I can check in at the Jen Club’s reception desk, we decided to take a break and relax at the Club Lounge.
The Club Lounge

Being able to access the Club Lounge means that you get to enjoy the extras that Hotel Jen Puteri Habour offers like:

After we took a short break at the Club Lounge, we proceeded to Sanrio Hello Kitty Town and Thomas Town for a few hours of entertainment before coming back to Hotel Jen Puteri Habour.
Once we got back to the hotel, we continue to explore every corner of it. This was definitely one of our favourite parts of the hotel… the beautiful view of Puteri Habour!
I took some ootd photos at the pool area while the boys checked out the swimming pool.
I saw the infinity pool and made a promise to myself that my boys and I must definitely find some time out to dip in it.
Just look at that wonderful view! This area reminded me of ONE°15 Marina Sentosa Cove in Singapore but it’s much more peaceful and serene here.
Hotel Jen has three towers and this is one of the link bridge from Tower 2 to the swimming pool.
The boys couldn’t help but to do a leap of joy at the bridge especially after seeing the beautiful swimming pool. Yes, they are water babies!
Hotel Jen Puteri Habour Deluxe Habour View Room
Afterwhich, we went to find our hotel room which was located at block 2.
From the Deluxe Room, I was upgraded to the Deluxe Harbour View Room where I can see beautiful scenic views of Puteri Harbour!
I got a pleasant surprise when when I walked into the room and saw the balloons and the Happy Birthday sign hanging on the walls for Kaiser. At the sawme time, there was a personal handwritten note from the hotel staff wishing Kaiser ‘Happy Birthday’. So sweet!

Guess what we saw when we opened the fridge?
OMG… a birthday cake for Kaiser! It was so pretty and colourful that we fell in love with it at first sight.
Thanks Hotel Jen Puteri Habour for making Kaiser so happy!
The cake tasted great too and both Kaiser and Rayes kept asking for more. Yummy!
The Club Lounge
Around 5pm, we went back to Club Lounge to enjoy some complimentary hors d’oeuvres and cocktails which are available daily from 5pm to 7pm while complimentary coffee, tea, soft drinks and fruit juices are available throughout the day.

After filling up our stomachs, we decided to walk out of the hotel and saw two beautiful wall murals and decided to take photos with them.
It was super convenient for travellers to stay in this hotel cos the moment we walked out, we saw rows of shops and restaurants.
We were pleasantly surprised to find very interesting bamboo structures along the habour and I decided that we must come back in the daytime to check them out again.

Habour Cafe
Even though the boys watched movies in the hotel room till late, we managed to wake up at around 8pm to get some breakfast at Habour Cafe.
The spread was incredible… with so much selection of food, I started to wonder if I would have space in my stomach for lunch… hahaha!
After breakfast, I decided to drive to Johor Premium Outlets for some shopping therapy to see if I can find any bargain buys for me and the boys. I bought two pairs of adidas shoes, adidas shirts for the boys and one pair of dress shoes from Pedro.
By the time we are back in the hotel, it was just nice to catch the golden hour for some photo taking fun at Puteri Habour.
The view was so amazing that we took a lot of photos for memory sake.
SkyBar, Bar ＆ Restaurant
After that, we headed to SkyBar, Bar & Restaurant located by the infinity pool for our dinner.
It rained a bit but the sky cleared up just before our dinner, so thank goodness, we were able to sit outdoor to enjoy the excellent view of Puteri Habour. A sun-kissed poolside outlet by day, it transforms into a laid-back lounge and grill by night, serving fresh steaks and seafood, classic cocktails, desserts and quality wines.
It proved to be a relaxing dining experience with food that my family love… there is something for everyone!
The food tasted excellent as both the boys navigated through the dinner while learning how to use the appropriate cutlery.
Kaiser was adventurous enough to try out all the food and he loved them!
While the boys enjoyed their food, I enjoyed my drink while admiring the beautiful scenery.
My juicy steak with three different sauces to go with… how very thoughtful of the staff to prepare the different sauces for me to try!
This dish was Rayes’ favourite while Kaiser had the fish and chips!
Such a wonderful relaxing dining experience with excellent views of Puteri Harbour to end the second night of our holiday!

The infinity pool is a must visit part of our holiday if you are staying in Hotel Jen Puteri Habour! We went for a dip in the morning after our breakfast in Habour Cafe.
After swimming, we checked out of our hotel room before heading to Shakes & Burgers for our lunch.
The check out was fuss free and quick. While I was checking out, the boys found their way to the corner called “Kiddy Land” which is next to the counter.
The boys had much fun at this corner that it was hard to move them out for our lunch.
Shakes & Burgers
As the name said it all, the menu comprised of milk shakes and burgers. 
The place was spacious and homely too… just right for casual dining with family, friends or loved ones.
There were many interesting burgers so we ordered a few to try and they proved to be delicious too.
Rayes is a fussy eater but he was super in love with his satay chicken burger and finished it up without any leftover… lol.
After our filling meal, it was time to bid goodbye to Hotel Jen Puteri Habour, Johor. I would strongly recommend this hotel to anyone/family who is looking at a relaxing comfortable stay with amazing view of the sea.
