Media Invite: Aston Martin unveils the DB11: the latest in an illustrious bloodline on 1 Mar 2016
Yes, we were all at the simultaneous launch event of Aston Martin DB11 at the new landmark Aston Martin showroom on Leng Kee Road. DB11 was unveiled to audiences in both Geneva and Singapore at 21.00 SGT, a testament to Aston Martin’s enduring global appeal.
So glad to catch up with all my friends at the Aston Martin launch. All of us were so excited about DB11.
The DB11 made its global debut on 1st March 2016 at the 86th International Geneva Motor Show and all the invited guests were so lucky to get a close look at DB11.
Bobby Tonelli, celebrity DJ and actor, was the emcee for that night.
One of the only two DB11 at the moment, was covered up in black clothes, keeping us in suspense.
A speech by Mr Pang Cheong Yan, Managing Director, Prestige Division, Wearnes Automotive.
Mr Patrik Nilsson, Asia Pacific Regional Director for Aston Martin, was also in Singapore to give a speech before unveiling DB11.
The unveiling started at 21.00 SGT sharp.
Oh my goodness… Just look at this magnificent car!
I couldn’t resist taking a photo with DB11. This DB11 has such an amazing hue of red which is not overpowering and has an intriguing feel to it.
DB11 combines the very latest technology developed in conjunction with technical partner, Daimler, with the finest quality and hand craftsmanship. Using a full-colour 12â TFT LCD display, the all-new instrument cluster presents primary vehicle information with absolute clarity, while a second, centrally-mounted 8â TFT screen is dedicated to infotainment. Controlled via an intuitive rotary control, with an optional touchpad offering character recognition, multi-touch and gesture support, the new satellite navigation and audio system have never been more effective, sounded better or been easier to operate. A newly implemented auto-park assist feature and 360-degree birds-eye view camera, also operated via the carâs infotainment system, ensures safe maneuvering at slow speeds.
This was one of those times when you didn’t want to get out of a car.
