Located in the heart of Singapore’s shopping district of Bugis and business area, this 538-room 16 storey property is well connected to many public transportation such as Bencoolen, Bugis, Rochor and Bras Basah MRT.
ibis Singapore on Bencoolen is located near to Bugis so you can easily walk over to Bugis Junction and Bugis Street. Orchard Road, Marina Bay Sands, Little India and other places are easily accessible via MRT.
There are various types of rooms available in ibis Singapore on Bencoolen. I stayed in the standard room with a queen bed. Facilities like bathroom in the room, mini refrigerator, coffee/tea making facilities, hair dryer, Direct dial telephone,Voice mail, High speed internet, Data port in room,Wireless internet in your room, Satellite/cable colour TV, safe deposit box, iron, business table, etc.
Those staying in from 14th floor onwards can see the city skyline view. The rooms on 15th and 16th floor are rooms with extra benefits, i.e complimentary minibar, breakfast, free access to a gym and complimentary use of 4 bamboo bicycles.
For the rest who want to rent the bicycles, you just need to pay S$15.
The laundry room comprises of washing machines and dryers so that you can do your laundry and wont need to have piles of dirty clothes in your luggage.
There are also three meeting rooms featuring high grade audiovisual equipment and can host a variety of configuration that accommodate up to 80 persons.
For those who do not want to get out of the hotel, you can have your meals in Taste Restaurant which offers a wide spread of international cuisine. Highlights include Chef Casey Lai’s western food, healthy sets as well as Singaporean dishes endorsed by K.F. Seetoh, well-known local makan guru. Beverages are available at Le Bar if you just want to chill out.
If travelling out of Singapore is not possible, then you might want to go for a staycation and ibis Singapore on Bencoolen is one of your choices!
